Ask more questions.
If you want a more efficient and effective workplace; if you want more Perfect Workdays, you have to ask more and better questions.
Try this exercise: When you go into any type of meeting take a pad and pen and write these seven questions down the left side of the paper: What, Why, Who, Where, When, How, How Much. At the end of the meeting make sure you have good answers for all the questions that apply. Miscommunication and assumptions drop off dramatically.
Look at it this way, Bugs Bunny was right. The more you ask, “What’s up doc?,” the more information you get. The more information you get the better decisions you can make.
