FEAR, the Ultimate Buzzkiller

The acronym F.E.A.R. has long been known to mean, “Future Events Appearing Real.”

FEAR leads to worry and worry is more often than not useless.

To paraphrase Mark Twain, “I worried about lots of things in life, few of which came true.”

What are you afraid of?

  1. Heard the F.E.A.R. acronym for the FIRST time last night with a group of men...and TODAY I hear it again from MCollins, the oracle. (Insert Presidential tingle down right leg). We discussed the statment - "Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do that. For what the world really needs is men and women fully alive." And why don't we "go for it" instead of often living a life of quiet desparation? I'm guessing it goes back to FEAR. Fear of rejection, fear of failure. Time to take the leap?
